Thank you for coming!

Hoolit Gift Shop and Magazine celebrated its relocation with a successful launch weekend to showcase its selection it has on offer with a discount for the day, including Scottish nibbles, refreshments, and cupcakes supplied by Jeanie’s Coffee Shop.

Mary Blythe and Carole Waddell would like to thank everyone who came along on the 19th and 20th of August for a chat, to support the Gift Shop and Magazine, and also to celebrate the expansion of Hoolit. Hoolit is now an addition to the Airdrie and Coatbridge Directory Magazine. Carole and Mary would like to give a special thanks to those who helped at the launch weekend, including Hoolit friends and staff, the local community who attended, and Jeanie’s Coffee shop to which the Hoolit are neighbours.

Those who came along to the two-day event included MSP John Mason, MSP David Linden, the Tesco Shettleston Community Champion, Lu, among others. Attendees enjoyed a discount on the day for all of the gifts at Hoolit of which there is a wide range of suppliers, such as; Gie it Laldy, Highland Soap Company, East of India, and Harris Tweed, among others. Hoolit Gift Shop has gifts for any occasion including a wide range of Scottish cards, artwork, candles, wax melts, books, coasters, adorable highland coo plushies, mugs, and of course, our free Magazine.

MSP John Mason said: "I was happy to visit Hoolit magazine in their new base in Baillieston, above Tesco. Their magazine is a great way to advertise about local businesses or give information about schools and churches. They have also opened a shop stocking celebration cards and gift items. I look forward to seeing their continued success in this new location".

Hoolit offers a vast array of services; we are a Magazine, a Gift Shop, and a print service. We print posters, banners, you name it, we print it. Most of all though, we champion our local community and are passionate about providing a voice to you and yours, and promoting local businesses. So pop into our base above Tesco Extra in Baillieston for all your printing and gift shop needs, with a wee friendly chat too.
