Santa is well and truly on his way, and at Shettleston Tesco they are well and truly getting into the Christmas spirit. Lights are up, along with a big decorated tree with festive music playing to get customers into the Christmas spirit!
November saw the store take part in the Poppy Scotland appeal. Help was provided from local air cadets, army cadets, and a wonderful veteran who volunteered to help raise an amazing £1926.08.
Information on how the money raised is spent can be found at www.poppyscotland.org.uk.
Last month also saw Tesco’s annual collection for the food banks. Last year Tesco donated over three tons of food from the Shettleston store alone. Hopefully in the next edition of the magazine we will be able to provide an update on this year’s collection total.
If any school/organisation is looking for a donation please drop a letter into the store for the attention of Luzier Jeffrey.
