Hello everyone — can you believe we’re nearly halfway through the year already? Time is flying, and it’s been busy in-store and in the community!

We had a fantastic Easter weekend event with biscuit decorating and colouring activities. Everyone left with a goody bag filled with chocolate, crayons, crisps, sweets, and an activity book. We even had a special visit from the Easter Bunny, who handed out chocolate treats!
You might remember the Crafty Dafties’ sale of work — we raised an amazing £600! The total was split between Sandaig Nursery, Beechwood Nursery, Winter Garden Nursery, and Budhill Family Learning Centre. Thank you to everyone who supported us! If there’s something you’d like to request, get in touch — just note we don’t knit or crochet for adults.
By the time this is out, our second sale will have taken place, with funds going to local schools. Watch this space for an update.
We’ve had huge amount of donation requests lately, supporting groups like Turning Point, Street League, Shettleston New Church, Thorntree Primary, and Springboig Care Home. Please remember: all requests must be in writing — no letter, no donation. Drop them into the store, marked for my attention, and allow time for processing. I work part-time: all day Monday and Tuesday, and Wednesday morning only.
Here’s to a sunny summer ahead!
