Tesco Parkhead and store Community Champion Susan Wilson supported Saint Anne’s Primary School at their sports day by donating bottled water, flavoured water, juice, fruit and treats for all the kids. It was a very special day as The Judy Murray Foundation came to officially open their MUGA (multi use games arena).
The Foundation’s motto is “Everyone for tennis, everywhere for tennis” and their mission is to bring tennis to rural and deprived areas in Scotland. The whole day was great fun with Judy and Jamie Murray teaching the kids and their families how to play tennis, but most importantly, have lots of fun! The day was also supported by the amazing PEEK Project team and Sports Scotland Active Schools’ Young Ambassadors. Partnership working at its best!
