Give Glasses New Life

Caboodle Eyecare is delighted to be taking part in a recycling scheme for your old glasses.

And it’s all for a good cause. These specs can’t be processed in the usual way and, according to Zero Waste Scotland,shouldn’t be included in the household’s waste units or at local council recycling centres.

However, there are charities who collect and clean them, then send them to developing countries where they can be put to good use.

They are actively participating in this worthwhile scheme and would welcome any of your glasses that are no longer of use to you.

They have a collection point in each of our Easterhouse and Carntyne surgeries and they’ll be very happy to pass on anything you deposit with us to the charity.
