Furnish Forward - Helping People Feel Right At Home

We love seeing new community initiatives making a real difference, and Right There’s latest project is just that. The homelessness prevention charity has launched Furnish Forward - a brilliant scheme based in Royston but supporting people all across Glasgow.

The idea is simple but powerful: donate your pre-loved furniture, and it’ll either go straight into one of the 500+ homes the charity supports, or be sold through their new shop to raise vital funds for other services.

If you’ve got good-quality items like drawers, wardrobes, sofas, bed frames or tables and chairs, they’ll even pick them up for free from anywhere in Glasgow. It’s a great way to declutter, support your neighbours, and give your old furniture a second life.
