Tesco Shettleston Community Champion Luzier has had a very busy month and was delighted to finally catch up with East Park FC, who won £1,500 in the store’s May/June Bags Of Help vote. The money was used to buy a new kit and Luzier was delighted to be on the sidelines at training to get a few photographs of the team. The boys looked fantastic and they kept her going with their patter!

Ceann Creige Hurling and Camogie Club popped into the store with a donation of books for their charity library. They are a relatively new club set up in Craigend and hurling is a great sport to participate in. They believe, through hurling, children can make new friends and develop teamwork skills that will remain with them throughout their lives.

The store was fundraising in September for Diabetes UK. Did you know that every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes? To raise awareness they had two minute challenges in store - Don’t Wake Sam and The Yes/No Game. Lots of fun was had by all and Luzier would like to say thank you to everyone who stopped by.
