Tesco Shettleston Extra Community Update April 2021

First of all, I hope everyone had a lovely Easter!

March was another busy month for myself. I was delighted to help our local schools and youth groups by donating Easter eggs, hot chocolate and marshmallows. At Community of Helping Hands we put together around 700 goody bags that were then distributed to schools local to the charity.

I was delighted to be part of the Jiggly Joggers Easter Trail on Easter Sunday. After a self-led walk around the Budhill area, the Easter Bunny gave each of the children a goody bag.

We are nearing the time Tesco Turns Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness and Race For Life. Hopefully as current restrictions change, we will be able to have some fun in store and do some much needed fundraising.

In April, I am going to be working alongside Lochview Nursery to build a sensory garden. I would love to hear from some of our green fingered readers about plants that could be used. If you think you can help in any way please pop in and see me. My working days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Please remember if you are looking for any help or donations, all requests must come in writing to myself at the store.
